Here's how we scaled a premium fashion brand's global sales with a targeted paid social strategy and delivered 3x ROAS

A contemporary fashion label that combines lux designs with a modern edgy aesthetic had a lot going for it. But when they came to us, they were facing poor performance, high CPAs, and limited market penetration. The brand was looking for a comprehensive strategy. 

Our growth marketing team worked alongside the brand—one of the world’s fastest-growing fashion footwear and apparel brands—to rebuild their performance marketing strategy from scratch.

We responded with a holistic, multi-channel growth strategy—implementing targeted campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and email platforms.

The challenge

The client had come to us complaining of poor performance and lack of transparency from their previous agency.

Their then agency lacked an understanding of the fashion e-commerce market.

The brand suffered from low ROAS and high CPAs and was struggling to scale efficiently.

The client’s old approach had been too focused on Meta advertising and lacked a holistic, diverse growth strategy.

They lacked conversions outside core markets (US and UK).

They weren’t sure of their target audience, so we had to start at the strategy level to locate the best prospecting audiences for the brand.

Our strategy

When we set out to rework the growth marketing strategy for them, we started by first zeroing in on the right target audiences.

Step two was making sure the brand moved away from being hyper-focused on its Meta ad strategy. So we decided to take a diverse, multi-channel approach for the client.

We did this by prospecting across Meta, PPC, TikTok and email— adding a retargeting layer based on traffic from the various channels.

The next step was to start running global ad campaigns across multiple channels. We structured these campaigns based on hemispheres to promote products according to seasons. This eventually helped us boost conversions and reduce CPAs.

We optimised the brand’s dynamic product ads for better CTR using additional assets.

Finally, we implemented a detailed creative strategy and testing framework (which we upgraded every sprint) for ongoing optimisation.

 

Results

We managed to scale the brand to new heights in record time. A 70% CPA reduction on Meta Ads, 51% on Google Ads, and a 39% increase in conversions. By zeroing in on the right audience, optimising dynamic product ads, and employing seasonal strategies, we achieved a remarkable 10.2x ROAS. 

Within just two quarters of taking over their accounts, we managed to make significant improvements.

On Meta alone, we reduced the overall CPA by 70% thanks to our multi-channel approach which allowed us to generate high-intent, low-cost traffic from other channels, and then retarget through Meta with dynamic product ads.

Similarly, for their Google Ads account we managed a 51% reduction in CPA. These results highlight the effectiveness of a data-driven, multi-channel campaign adjustments and continued optimisation efforts.
