How we lifted Sartoro’s ROAS 31% while dropping CPA 35% in under 2 months

Sartoro’s product spoke for itself—sharp, custom-fit suits with premium detailing and seamless online tailoring. But the ads didn’t. Performance was stuck in the middle: direct response tactics borrowed from SaaS and supplements weren’t converting a fashion buyer.

There was no pain point, no “before and after,” no urgency that made sense. What was missing was relevance: emotional context, style moments, and performance creative that understood why men suit up in the first place. We reworked the strategy from the ground up—starting not with discounts, but with occasions, aspirations and personal transformation.

The challenge

Sartoro wanted to grow profitably on Meta while holding premium positioning. The goal: improve ROAS and CPA while reducing reliance on broad spend.

The blockers were clear:

  • Wrong creative language: “Buy now” CTAs and discount-led ads treated suits like impulse buys—performance stayed flat.
  • Lack of contextual hooks: No references to weddings, interviews, or moments that trigger suiting up—so interest didn’t turn into action.
  • Generic visuals: Studio shots and polished carousels lacked emotional edge. Sartoro didn’t feel different from any other brand on the feed.
What we did
What we did
What we did

We repositioned Sartoro’s creative through the lens of personal transformation, blending story, function and style relevance to drive higher efficiency with less volume.

1) Tap into style psychology, not pain points

There’s no emergency in buying a suit—but there is a reason. Weddings. Interviews. First impressions. We tied ads to life events and identity shifts: “Look like the promotion is already yours.” “Your wedding look, sorted.” It wasn’t about clothes—it was about outcomes.

2) Let the product prove itself—authentically

We leaned into raw UGC: men suiting up in front of mirrors, partners filming try-ons, unboxings. No polish, just real-life moments. These assets drove 9+ ROAS by building instant relatability and showing how the suit feels, not just how it looks.

3) Use soft urgency tied to outcome

Instead of discounts, we built subtle pressure through timelines: “Need your suit in 3 weeks?” or “Wedding in 30 days?” Clickbait-style copy worked when tied to real stakes—not false scarcity.

4) Design statics around speed, fit, and quality

Static ads focused on three value props: perfect fit, fast delivery, and global service. Backed with review snippets or short captions, these offered clarity for first-time buyers and lifted conversion without killing AOV.

5) Scale top angles with seasonal relevance

We built campaigns around events: wedding season, graduation, and holiday parties. Each one adapted proven hook structures to match the moment—allowing us to test less but win faster.

Results

In under eight weeks, Sartoro’s performance shifted from flat returns to controlled, high-efficiency scaling.

Headline commercial impact

  • ROAS jumped from 1.93 to 2.53
  • CPA dropped by 35%
  • Spend was trimmed, but conversions held steady
  • Volume replaced by precision targeting and better messaging

Funnel economics

Top-funnel hooks improved click quality: Event-led messaging raised pre-qual intent, improving CVR at the bottom.

UGC formats scaled: Self-filmed content felt real and aspirational—outperformed polished ads 3×.

Static ads closed: When built around speed and fit, even simple carousels helped convert new users without promo code drops.

Reduced testing, better yield: We focused testing on hook structures and moments—not endless variants—improving ROI per creative.

Creative drivers of growth

  • Lo-fi UGC with emotional stakes (e.g. “fiancé filmed my fitting”)
  • Hook copy tied to real events: weddings, interviews, first impressions
  • Statics anchored in Sartoro’s value props: tailored fit, fast delivery, no markup
  • CTAs like “Find your fit” and “Tailored in 3 clicks” outperformed hard sells
  • Visuals rotated seasonally but kept winning chassis
  • Sartoro’s best growth didn’t come from louder ads—it came from smarter context. We didn’t sell suits. We sold what the suit says about you.
